Murat Cakmaz - ney, zurna, kavala
- born 1972 in Wesel / Germany. Has been playing ney, zurma and kavala since the age of 14. Frequent travels and studies in Turkey. Played and recorded with numerous world music projects. Played with artists as Sümer Ezgü, Nuray Hafiftas, Orhan Hakalmaz, Müslüm Gürses and others. Played concerts in Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. Plays turkish ethno jazz with his own band breeze of anatolia. |

Andreas Heuser - guitar, violin
- born 1959 in Friedrichshafen / Germany

- born 1963 in Malatya / Turkey
- moved to Germany in 1980

Marcin Langer - flute, saxophone
- born in Bytom / Poland. 1972 first band experiences. Played with rock theatre group "Kamikaze-Orkester 1978 - 80. Studied music at the university Duisburg 1981 - 1986. 1987 - 1990 member of world music group Köprü. Founded the "Pindakaas Saxophon Quartett" in 1990 - several CD-releases with this quartet (Voyage, Dialog, Brause, Pindakaas-Live), worked as a studio musician for various productions. Winner of the Kulturpreis 1996 at International masterclass "chamber music with saxophones in Unna. Concerts in Germany and Europe. |

Jens Pollheide - bass, flute
- born 1970 in Bielefeld / Germany, grew up in Lübbecke, Westfalia. Studied flute from the age of 12 and has been frequently playing bass guitar in numerous jazz- and rock bands . Came first into contact with free improvisation through projects with Missus Beastly founding member R. A. Wehmeyer. As member of Munich world music pioneers Embryo around Christian Burchard extensive tours in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Morocco, Turkey and Greece. Played with many big names from the jazz/world music scene: Okay Temiz, Mal Waldron, Hossam Shakir, Marty Cook, Monty Waters, Paramashivam Pilai, Chuck Henderson, Xizhi Nie, Roman Bunka, Ross Daley, Alan Praskin...
Besides his involvement with jazz he developed an intensive interest in non-western music traditions focusing mainly on oriental and Turkish music .He has been studying the oriental ney flute since 1999. Occasional collaborations with Amon Duul II veteran Chris Karrer`s projects, i.e. at the Herzberg Festival in 1996. Since 1997 working with guitarist and oud player Yulyus Golombeck and his band Maqam. Spends more and more time arranging/composing. Composed and performed the soundtrack to the short film Summer Suite by Italian director Fabio Magnifico (starring Thomas Huber and Amanda Sandrelli).
